The New York Knicks basketball team has gone through many ups and downs from the 2005 season until now. There were many issues with players such as guard Stephon Marbury, and center Eddy Curry. After the 2005 season, the Knicks did not make it back into the playoffs until April 2011. Many roster changes were made to help better the team, including the signing of Amar’e Stoudemire, and a blockbuster trade which sent Carmelo Anthony to the Knicks. The team also added some defense and experience by signing players like Tyson Chandler, Jason Kidd, and Kenyon Martin.
